This masterpiece from the former Yugoslavia is probably one of the most entertaining yet odd films I’ve seen in awhile. Most of the characters seem like they’re straight out of a Borat clip and it feels decidedly more dated than its 1998 release date. Over the top but hilarious in ways I haven’t seen in most European films in awhile.
Also, the Ubisububi room at the Thin Man/St. Marks is a great little venue for watching films.
